London Fashion Week - Spring 2013

Burberry Prorsum

This collection is “the future”. Hello? The metallic fabrics in form of capes and shirts is channeling “Judge Dred” cool. I do foresee “metallics” being a mega trend in 2013 after seeing this collection, it may become as popular as the “neon” trend.

Burberry can do a trench like no other designer on earth, loving this ombre style from fuschia to red, so hot...and again the shoes are metallic. The new white for Spring 2013?

The cropped Khaki trench jacket on Jordan Dunn is so cool, though I’m not so sure about the under garment (not ready to wear that on the streets).

This satin red trench is so Bellachic, straight out of the closet of an “InTime” Greenwich-town ladies  catalog. Again, so sexy and futuristic!

The last look on model Kinga Rajzak is Colorblock heaven and the colors are so rich, a purple top and red skirt with satin blue pumps.  I drool. Christopher Bailey is a genius! (in British voice) J’Adore this collection.

Mulberry

I was disappointed at the Mulberry collection – an array of flowery fabrics, brocades and what seems to be an obsession with slouchy and shapeless looks. What’s with the overload of pieces in the mustard fabric color? A little mix and match would not have hurt. Lastly, I don’t get the flare leg leather pants. Eww

Moschino Cheap & Chic

The Moschino Cheap and Chic collection was a major disappointment – I won’t bother sharing many of the looks, but this one should resonate as to why I was not a fan. Seriously, wtf?
