Outside of the city

This weekend I wanted a little escape from city life so the beau and I picked up a Fiat from Hertz on Demand, and went for a drive into the various suburbs of New Jersey. It was the perfect opportunity to check out the Short Hills mall, and it was quite the experience. They literally had to close it down for me to leave...

I chose to dress up a little more than normal since I didn't have to worry about mass transit and street walking, it was such a relief!

 

While driving we (the beau and I) kept playing "Hotel California" and it was the perfect day, weather wise, to enjoy a little fun on the road. 

Coincidentally I wore the same outfit this past week to a fashion mixer event (for those of you who always think I never wear the same thing twice) and since it was colder I layered accordingly. I wore a pair of Sangria color stockings, a black cashmere cable sweater over the green blouse peaking from underneath, my black Jimmy Choo pumps and motorcycle jacket, other than that it was the same exact outfit.
