New fashion in...

Occasionally I like to shop for a few items to update my wardrobe...this past month, with the holidays and all..I was not too selfish....some of the items I bought, others were early x-mas gifts I was surprised with...I wanted to share with you the new items you will see me wear/style in the upcoming posts...

Fur vest: Martin Aston London, purchased at variazioni soho
Dolce Vita tan leather ankle boots - to pair with skinny jeans and minis on those casual days
Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC chain clutch in Raspberry leather

Blue Maxi..

This week the cold started to peak in a bit, although Monday and Tuesday were still quite warm making it perfect for this maxi skirt fall look..

I picked up this dress (worn as a skirt) a couple of weeks ago at MontMartre in the Upper West Side, my favorite little neighborhood for shopping with favorites like Barneys and Intermix within a few blocks from each other without the crazy crowds.  I was dying to wear the dress as a skirt as I love this royal blue burst of color for the fall...

The skirt was very playful, I had fun taking these photos...the royal blue made me excited for my upcoming Caribbean-holiday vacation.

Outfit details:

Royal blue dress (worn as a maxi skirt): MontMartre
Black cable cashmere sweater: Aqua for Bloomingdales
Onyx necklace: Silver World in the west village
Leopard pumps: Ivanka Trump
Silver Charm Bracelet: Christian Dior
Black glazed leather Mid-City tote, worn as Clutch: Foley + Corinna
Canary yellow scarf: (Can't remember where I got it, somewhere in the upper west side)
Sunglasses: Gucci

Channeling Girl with the Dragon Tattoo...

I'm thrilled about the upcoming movie release of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo on Dec. 21st, which made me even more excited for the new collaboration to hit H&M stores on Dec. 14th. I have already picked out what I am going to try and get my hands on…

There is nothing like wearing pieces that channel the thrill seeker and mysterious side of me. These leather pants are killer…

Although this ripped top screams grungy, and it’s a bit far from looks I favor, I am excited for the adventurous side of me that will have fun pulling it off…

Spiked earrings…how cool are these? I sort of see myself wearing a high pony, with a pair of Chelsea boots, leather pants and my grungy top pulling this look off the night I go see the movie….so funky and cool

Getting slightly into character “fashion-wise” will only bring out my excitement to see the movie when it finally hits theaters even more!
